Using vector graphics with Corel PhotoPaint allows to get better image quality and scaling during any modification project.

For more complex editions you can also opt for the option to fix imperfections in an image.

Images with these de-bit capabilities allow the designer to play and experiment a little more with the photo content.

Giving highly creative results, and with this plug-in program that CorelDraw Suit recently added, the possibilities are endless .

Before you start working with an image, you should know that you can make the desired corrections and changes by working on each layer of the image.

What is Corel PhotoPaint and how is it used?

This is a computer program that was recently incorporated into Corel's Suit, as we have already mentioned. Intended for editing by raster images .

In other words, it's not common to use vector graphics with Corel PhotoPaint, since they're normally designed to work with bitmap photos.

That said, it does include some new optimized editing features that allow you to improve the work started in other graphic design software.

For this reason it has become quite popular and has gained supporters all over the world, facing competitions such as Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro.

PhotoPaint can be obtained by purchasing any of the company's newest outfits, preferably this year 2020 with all its improvements.

Insert vector graphics images using Corel PhotoPaint

First, it should be understood that this tool is specially designed for use bitmaps and raster images .

But, when you try to export a photo with these characteristics, the same program will make a small bitmap conversion of the document in order to open it.

This process that converts vector images is what is known as rasterization or raster files, which you can work with.

So, there are two ways to insert file Vector graphics using Corel PhotoPaint, importing or opening any of these.

Open a vector file in a new Corel PhotoPaint sheet

This allows you to give it the default format given by the program ( cpt ). As for the conversion, it will be the same in both processes.

So to proceed, select the top left tab that says “ Fillet ” and accordingly choose “ apri ".

In this way, the location where the desired document is located is searched for and opened, pressing with the pointer, choosing the " apri ".

Therefore, before running it, a new window will appear with options for converting to bitmaps, where you need to adjust some parameters.

These are resolution, height and width, as well as color. If you are satisfied with this, select " OK ” and the image will appear on the white sheet with the “. cpt ".

Import the vector file into the program

import a vector graphic image using Corel PhotoPaint, you need to go through a relatively similar process to the one seen above.

Unlike the previous one, which was taken as the background layer of the document, this one can be used as a plug-in element within a project.

Then, you need to go to " Fillet " and explore the options bar until you find " Import " which, once selected, will show a pop-up bar.

In it, you need to locate the desired file, choose it and click on the button " Import ", which will take us back to the document.

In this case, you must first choose where the file will go before the conversion window appears, adjust it, then click " OK ", causing the element to be inserted.

      Conversion optimization recommendations

If you are an expert in using graphic design programs and image formats , this may not be a problem. But there are those who are not.

For this reason, it is important to note that when exporting or opening vectors, it is best to use a standard resolution, i.e. 100 dpi .

As for the size and color, if you work with large objects, the ideal is to lower the height and width, not forgetting to select " Keep proportion ”. On the other hand, the color should be left as it is.

When you start working with an image that you just want to make improvements to, it's important to know how to change the resolution or size of the paper you'll be working on.

Adobe Photo Paint editor gives you the opportunity to work with photos, images, texts and GIFs. If in your case you want to work with a photo that came out blurry and out of focus, this editor allows you to fix it.
